featuring area high school senior football players at UNF 2 pm, PVHS is represented by Hunter Lentz, Perry Orth, Jake Jacob, Matt Wawrzyniak.
National Signing Day Ceremony at PVHS will be held on Wednesday, February 1st at 8:30 am in the gymnasium, PVHS will be featuring Tyler Gleason to Wofford, Michael Parrotta to UAB and potentially others. We are so proud of our Sharks!!
OFF-SEASON LIFTING
Football off-season lifting and conditioning will resume on
January 23, 2011. Workouts will take place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings at 7:40AM. Workouts will be supervised by Coach Loyd and staff. Until then, Coach Loyd would like all players to get some rest and well deserved time off while attending to their schoolwork. There will be no mandatory workouts until we resume on that date. Any questions can be directed to Coach Scott.
2011 Football All-State Honors
Cole Mazza was selected to the second team All State team, along with Joey Carzoli and Kyle Federico to the third team, with Jake Jacob making honorable mention. Please take a couple of minutes of your day to congratulate them when you see them. They are the first players in the history of the program to achieve this honor, it is great to see their hard work in the classroom and on the field pay off. Congratulations Boys!!!
2011 St. Augustine Record All-County Team
Announcement from Coach Rolison: "Join me in congratulating the following Ponte Vedra Shark football athletes for making the St Augustine Record All County Team. It's great to see so many SHARKS in such a short time, Great job boys. - Jake Jacob, Cole Mazza, Michael Scott, Joey Carzoli, Tyler Gleason, Matt Mourao all made first team All-County,
And making Honorable Mention were, Keegan Warwin, Dillion Bates, Matt Wawrzyniak, Perry Orth and Michael Parrotta."
